Bean Me! Productions
Welcome to the new and vastly improved BM!P site. With the forums and wiki (Bean Me! Pedia) most everything should be searchable, friendly, and easily accessible. The forums allow a place for all BM! players and fans to hang out, share tales and ideas, and possibly game or set up games. The wiki holds all Bean Me! knowledge and information from the official books themselves to erratas to upcoming books. In Torrents you will find a link to a torrent packages to download the books for your own use. In Support you will find some ways to support BM!P and staff. And in Contact you will find a way you can attempt to poke at me; I guarantee nothing about my reply rate (I is terrible for checking email).
If you are new to Bean Me! I suggest starting by downloading the Bean Me! pack from Torrents and start with the How To Play Bean Me! Guide, essentially a step by step guide to playing Bean Me! from choosing the roles of each player, creating characters, and trying combat.
So have fun, enjoy, and keep good, keep well. Ciao!
About Bean Me!
Bean Me! is a tabletop role-playing game designed to be used in almost any setting and with the ability to be easily adapted to each individual’s use and desire. Bean Me! is built based on attempting to be as realistic as possible to allow for a more intuitive feel while playing while still being capable of losing realism for ease of rules and more enjoyment. Bean Me! is made up of a central rulebook which covers the basics of the game and is known as the Core. For extranneous rules and specifics such as storyline BM! players can then make their own or use pre-made Templates and Supplements added on to the Core to enhance their game play.
Game Features
Bean Me! uses a Skill based system rather than a class based system to allow for more unique and customised characters. These Skills give players access to Abilities and Spells which augment their character and the way they perform in combat and the world. With Bean Me!’s focus on combat it is much more interactive and gives more control to the combatants and rather than limit and control them it lets them make more choices; for better or worse. Basic equipment features allow for new equipment to be made easily and if used with listed formulas balanced with official BM! equipment. With a system for building materials every environment and item in the world will be destroyable if players choose to use it. With a morale system the intelligence and actions of combatants can be managed with dice rolls to add fair randomness. With Bean Me!’s ‘physics’ engine broken into optional rules it is easier to remove some to make the game easier to play without rules players do not want. And with no basic storyline required players can easily build their own or use on of the many official stories contained in Templates and Supplements.
The Core
Within the Core are the basic rules pertaining to character creation, Skill system use, basic combat, equipment, materials, morale, and the ‘physics engine’. The Core does not contain specific story, Skills, Abilities, Spells, equipment, or rules a person is not likely to come across in ‘normal’ settings.
Templates
Templates contain anything from story to additional rules to advance the Core and Bean Me! game play. Templates can be generic and lack story only providing players with new Skills, Abilities, Spells, equipment, and creatures, can be only story without any rules, or a mix of both.
Supplements
Supplements are miniature expansions on already produced works such as the Core or a Template. They increase the rules, Skills, Abilities, Spells, equipment, creatures, or any additive the author desires. Some Supplements are ’stand alone’ and add entirely new features that are not linked to the Core or a Tempate but are likely useable in most stories.
